how to convert umat to vumat

hi every body

i want to model microforming processes using crystal plasicity,,, i have Dr huang single crystal code writing in umat inteface,,, i want to model some forming processes i abqus/explicit so i should write or convert above code to VUMAT code ,

 can anybody guide me how to do it? 

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

You will have to rewrite the code for VUMAT format. The function and variables are different subroutines. Also, there is no need for Jacobian in VUMAT. You will have to take care of these issues.
