Highly motivated individuals holding a PhD in Mechanics, Materials Science or closely related fields are encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate will join a successful and very active Research Group with a commitment to excellence in the understanding of the mechanical behavior of materials through massive molecular dynamics simulations, continuum crystal plasticity and polycrystalline plasticity finite element simulations. The Post-doctoral Associate will carry out his/her research on the ongoing projects of the Research Group with emphasis on the understanding of the micro and nano-mechanical behavior of surfaces, nanocontact plasticity and the analysis of micropillar compression experiments.
