Dear All,
I
faced problem in modeling Reinforced Concrete Beam considering discrete
reinforcement. Its a 10'X12"X6" sized beam reinforced with 2-10mm long
bar. I first model the concrete volume, mesh it & then create link
elements individually. The model shows ultimate load, deflection, mid
span stress very much close to theoretical values. But the problem is:
it doesn't show any crack/crush in concrete. I tried to get it, but
failed.
Is there anybody, can help me in this regard??????????? If anyone wanna see the Log file, please send your email address.
