I am translating a technical French paper. what can i use as the english equivalent of "pouvoir comburivore"?

take a look at the following:

The "pouvoir comburivore" is the exact volume of air necessary in order for a combustible substance to get inflamed.

This sounds like it might be related to the stoichiometric ratio of air for complete combustion.
