Piezoelectric Modeling in Abaqus CAE
Can anybody help me with piezoelectric modeling using abaqus cae? I am pretty new on this, I am looking at tutorials or *.cae files but I cannot find any. can you please reference me where to find them or maybe explain how it works? Thanks
thermal analysis of fin on ansys
salam to every one......
I am doing B.E mechanical and my final year project is related to thermal analysis of fin i have completed my first step that is first law analysis of thermodynamics. And i have achieve temperature profile on fin model.
Now i am stuck at second step that is ENTOPY AND EXERGY ANALYSIS(i.e second law of thermodynamics) ihad seached enough but ther is no feature like this. i am using follwing equation for calculatig entropy calculation

On the nature of the Cauchy stress tensor
Checking the iMechanica web, I notice some discussion about the Cauchy stress tensor, whether it is covariant or contravariant. Well, a tensor is neither covariant nor contravariant, while it can be expressed by its covariant, contravariant, or mixed *components* with respect to any arbitrary coordinate system. See the attached short explanation.
