The interesting phenomenon is that when two balls are in simultaneous contact with each other, there is a dramatic energy transfer from one ball to the other.

I know some researchers use a conventional mesher with order 3 elements
and then include more nodes in the meshes (but without improve the

I am doing the beam tutorial in ABAQUS and I get the mises stress output as given in the tutorial document (ABAQUS manual appendix B).
I am trying to understand the S11, S22 and S33 outputs from this model. The document I am using for my steps are attached. Couldn't attach my .cae file here.

I am doing a project on rubber couplings and it is a bit difficult for me to decide between the material models availavle in Ansys 14. I am new to this field and want some assistance in choosing the material model. So, can anyone help me to theoroticall explain the difference between the different material models available in Ansys?
