ISIE 2026 – Prague, Czech Republic (September 2–4, 2026)

We are pleased to invite the impact engineering community to the 12th International Symposium on Impact Engineering (ISIE 2026), which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, from September 2 to 4, 2026.

The symposium will bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners working in areas such as:

  • Explosion Caused by High Explosives, Gas and Dust
  • Numerical Simulation and Modelling
  • Shock and Wave Propagation
  • Material Behaviour at High Strain Rate
  • Dynamic Behaviour of Structural Elements
  • Vehicle or Ship Impact with Structures
  • Impact on Structures Induced by Earthquake
  • Risk Assessments under Impact and Blast Threats
  • Protective and Innovative Materials and Structures
  • Structure Strengthening and Retrofitting

The event is chaired by Czech Technical University in Prague and aims to provide a friendly and focused environment for exchanging ideas and fostering collaborations within the community.

Abstract submission is currently still open, and the process is intentionally simple — a short abstract is sufficient at this stage. We especially encourage early submissions and participation from both established researchers and early-career scientists.

More information and submission details can be found here:

We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this announcement with colleagues or anyone who might be interested.

We look forward to welcoming you to Prague in September 2026.
