I have one layer of deposit with 10 elements. After the
element one is activated and the analysis is going a heat sink is
created in the partially activated second element. This is causing no
heat transfer to the substrate and the analysis is getting obviously
aborted. I
have used DC3D20 quad elements for susbtrate and deposit, applied room temperature BCs to three sides of the substrate, room temperature initial conditions to substrate and the deposit, aheat transfer coeffn of 50 W/mK , sink temp=300K, a surface flux of 1*10e8 on the deposit, and removed all the 10 elements in the first step and activated one element at a time in each step. Please help me.
