A position for a postdoctoral research assistant is available, for up to three years, to work on "the development and analysis of coupled atomistic/continuum models of solids", specifically quasicontinuum and related methods. Candidates should either have a strong numerical analysis background, or a scientific computing / computational mechanics background with the willingness to put an effort into learning numerical analysis.
