This is to let you know about the Symposium on Mechanics of Slender
Structures (MoSS) 2008, which follows the conference MoSS 2006 held in
Northampton, U.K. in September 2006. The conference is planned to take
place in Baltimore, U.S.A., from July 23-25, 2008. It will be hosted by
the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and is sponsored by the
Stress and Vibration Group of the Institute of Physics (IoP) and the
Technical
Committee on Vibration and Sound of the ASME.
