We seek candidates with research experience in computational mechanics:
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Solid Mechanics / Material Science;
- Specialization in the Mechanics of Composite Materials and damage modeling of composites at different length scales.
- Expertise in linear and nonlinear Finite Element analysis;
- Familiarity with multi-physics simulations for composite manufacturing processes;
- Good coding skills for scientific computing
Job requirements:
- Proficient in using commercial finite element tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, and/or COMSOL
- Ability to develop user sub-routines and user defined elements in a commercial FEM platform
- Proficient in programming skills with good background in Python / Fortran/ C/C++
- Possess good publication track record
- Good interpersonal along with presentation and communication skills.
