In situ TEM workshop in China, Beijing, May 31 to June 2, 2008

Submitted by zwshan on

This workshop on In situ EM in Advanced Materials Research (With an emphasis on submicro and nano scale) aims to bring together researchers and scientists with an interest in combining real-time monitoring EM techniques with quantitative nanomechanical testing, electrical testing and thermal testing, etc. These emerging hybrid methods enable the building of direct relationships between microstructure evolution of advanced materials and their properties.   These methods hold great promise to improve our understanding of the origins of mechanical, thermal as well as electrical properties, and of how these properties are coupled.

This workshop are expected to provide wonderful opportunity to communicate with a strong lineup of internationally recognized invited speakers, to network and to talk one-on-one with researchers about their work!
