Postdoc position is available at DTU Wind Energy, the Section for Composite Mechanics and Structures.
The position is in the framework of Innovation Foundation project “DURALEDGE/ Durable leading edges for high tip speed wind turbine blades".
Responsibilities and tasks
- development of computational models to evaluate various protective coatings of the wind turbine blades, with view of their lifetime and rain erosion resistance,
- numerical modelling of microscale degradation and fatigue of wind turbine blade coatings under multiple liquid impacts, using finite element software Abaqus and Python programming language.
Location: Roskilde, Denmark.
Duration: 15 months
