We are looking for serious candidates for two Research Scientist positions in the field of Composite Materials including but not limited to modeling damage in composite materials, innovative composite materials, and data-rich approches for modeling composites:

PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science
- Strong background in Mechanics of Composite Materials (CFRP, GFRP, Nanocomposites, and/or CMCs)

Specialization in Computational Mechanics, Materials Modeling, and/or Multi-scale Methods
-
Expertise in Linear and Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis
-
Good coding skills for Scientific Computing
Job requirements:
-
Proficient in using commercial finite element tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, and/or NASTRAN

Proficient in programming skills in these languages (C/C++, Fortran, Python etc.)

Possess good publication track record
-
Possess good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
