Topic 11-11, ASME IMECE 2017, Tampa, Florida
This symposium will provide a forum that highlights exciting scientific developments in the design, processing, characterization, and/or modeling of materials to be used in medical devices, or materials to interact with biological systems. The symposium will bring together scholars and engineers working at the interface between the disciplines of materials science, medicine, chemistry, and biology. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
1. Polymer chemistry and engineering for biomedical applications
2. Engineering materials for biomedical applications
3. Biomedical composites and hybrid materials
4. Surface functionalization and characterization in biomaterials
5. Biomaterial processing and characterization
6. Nature-inspired materials
7. Simulation and design of biomedical materials

Abstract
Dear Dr.Ling Liu
I am very ecited to see my research area in the list you provided and i am now PhD student in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology , in Department of Mechanical Engineering in Solid Mechanics and Micro Nano Composite labrartory. My reaserch area is Biomechanics and Doing my PhD thesis on Biocompatiblity and fracture mechanism of Dental implant using Commercially Pure titanium grade 4. both Experimental and Finite Element methods using ABAQUS/CAE software. first of all am I eligible to send Abstract? when is the deadline of full paper submission? who cover the expenses of airticket,accomodation and food? glad to hear from you.
