The NUMISHEET 2016 is due to be held in Bristol, UK from 4th to 9th of September of 2016. Bristol is at the heart of UK’s aerospace, being home of many of the best of UK’s industry such as Rolls Royce defence, GKN Aerospace, BAE Systems and Airbus UK. Bristol also prides itself with a wide variety of cultural activities and a strong heritage. The NUMISHEET conference series is the most popular international conference on the area of the numerical simulation of sheet metal forming processes. It usually gathers the most prominent experts in numerical methods in general and in sheet forming processes in particular. It is a great forum for the exchange of ideas and for the discussion of technologies related to sheet metal forming processes.

NUMISHEET 2016 will have two main parts: 1) three benchmarks (case studies) in sheet metal forming and 2) regular papers.  The conference will have two proceedings books, published by the Institute of Physics IOP and with SCOPUS citation indexing for wide scientific dissemination of the conference papers. Special issues in international journals with high impact factor are also being organised. The conference will have a day reserved for technical tours to Rolls Royce heritage museum and to the Jaguar Land Rover sheet metal forming centre. The conference will have also attractive social programs with visits to Roman Baths and to Stonehenge world heritage centre in south-west England. More details about the conference can be found at the website:

It would be great if you accept our invitation to submit an abstract to NUMISHEET 2016. You can submit your abstract to a general topic listed on the conference website or to a mini-symposium. The abstract must have a limitation of 125 words and the title no more than 160 characters with spaces included.

Submissions are still welcome!
