Professor J.N. Reddy, of Texas A&M Univeristy, has been selected as the recipient of the 2016 Society of Engineering Science Prager Medal. The prize is awarded for outstanding research contributions in either theoretical or experimental Solid Mechanics or both.
Professor Gang Chen, of M.I.T., has won the 2016 Society of Engineering Science Ergingen Medal.The prize is awarded in recognition of sustained outstanding achievements in the broadly defined area of engineering sciences.
These awards will be presented at the annual SES conference to be held in October 2016 at the University of Maryland.
