Submitted by Angelo Simone on

As part of the USACM's 13th U.S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics (USNCCM13) to be held in San Diego, California, July 26-30, 2015, we are organizing a minisymposium on

advances and applications in Generalized/Extended Finite Element Methods.

The minisymposium (http://13.usnccm.org/MS710) aims at bringing together engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and national laboratory and industrial researchers to discuss and exchange ideas on new developments, mathematical analysis, and application of the Generalized/Extended Finite Element Method.

We invite you to submit abstracts to this Minisymposium through the conference website (http://13.usnccm.org/abstract_instructions).

The abstract submission will remain open until February 28, 2015.

Minisymposium organizers: C. Armando Duarte (UIUC), Angelo Simone (TU Delft), Patrick O'Hara (Universal Technology Corporation)
