EMI 2015, the annual conference of the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, will be held at Stanford University on June16-19, 2015. It will be chaired by Prof. Ronaldo Borja ( Department of Civil Engineering, Stanford University). The conference will feature several prestigious keynote lectures, several mini-symposia and a large number of presentation sessions on all areas of engineering mechanics, including but not limited to Biomechanics, Computational Mechanics, Dynamics, Elasticity, Experimental Analysis & Instrumentation, Fluid Dynamics, Granular Materials, Mechanics of Pavements, Inelasticity & Multiscale Behavior, Nanomechanics and Micromechanics, Poromechanics, Probabilistic Methods, Properties of Materials, Stability, and Structural Health Monitoring & Control.
Several student competions, technical committee meetings and social events, including an awards banquet, will take place at the conference.
