Your tasks: In the context of a large research project on processing of thermoplastcs composites, supervise production and implementation of new manufacturing and processing tools; plan, design, and analyse experiments for process development and material characterisation as well as for structural application of composite materials with a thermoplastic matrix; calculate and simulate material characteristics and structures; manage projects and supervise bachelor and master students
Your profile: Excellent Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical engineering; experience in evaluating material mechanics, especially for composite materials with a thermoplastic matrix; know-how in CAD (Catia or SolidWorks), LabVIEW/MATLAB and/or in numeric simulation tools like Abaqus or ANSYS advantageous; excellent command of German and English; high motivation to work in an interesting, scientifi c environment; independent work method and ability to work in a team.
