OPEN POSITION AT LMS INTERNATIONAL IN THE FIELD OF

ISOGEMOMETRIC BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD

BATWOMAN (Basic Acoustics Training - & Workprogram On

Methodologies for Acoustics - Network) is the Initial Training Network

(ITN) No. 605867, funded under the FP7 Marie Curie programme of

the EC. Duration: Sep. 1, 2013 - Aug. 31, 2017.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: All candidates must be fluent in spoken and

written English. The R&D is highly multidisciplinary. An ideal candidate

has a M.Sc. in engineering (e.g. dynamic, fluid-dynamics, acoustics,

physics) and an adequate mathematical & computational background.

Specific experience with CAE simulation methodologies and

software (Finite Element Method (FEM), Boundary Element

Method (BEM)...) is an advantage.

Knowledge of NURBS-based CAD technology or IsoGeometric

approach is an asset;

Knowledge of programming languages (C/C++, Fortran,

Visual.Basic, ...) and/or knowledge of Matlab are an advantage.

Candidates who have the proper qualifications may get the

opportunity to perform this work as part of a PhD study.

All members of the network are equal opportunity employers, both
