i do a second order analysis for apply axial load effect in ansys.

how can obtain frequency with modal analysis in ansys for above explaintion.

Hi

i want to add a stress relation to abaqus

can i write it in fortran in a way that i can enter specification like c11-c12-....in abaqus then have the calculation of stress in fortran and bring back the result in abaqus to analysis?

Hi Sina,

 

I am assuming you have a stress-strain relation that is not available in ABAQUS (like Hookean etc.)

 

In that case, you will ne to write a subroutine (UMAT or VUMAT) in Fortran that will have to be called during the run.
