PACAM XIV: Call for Abstracts and Call for Mini-symposium Proposals

The
Fourteenth Pan American Congress of Applied Mechanics (PACAM XIV) will be held
in Santiago, Chile, from March 24th to 28th, 2014, in collaboration with Universidad de Chile and Universidad de los Andes.  

The
invitation is open for abstract submission on a relevant topic in Applied Mechanics.
Abstract must be submitted through the Congress' web page (http://pacamxiv.org/submit-abstract/)
in any of the following tracks: solid mechanics, fluid Mechanics, continuum
mechanics of solids and fluids, vibration/dynamics, and control. The deadline for
abstract submission is November 15th, 2013. More details on the abstract
submission can be consulted in the Congress' web page.

  

The invitation is also open to anyone who is interested in organizing a
mini-symposium in an area pertaining to Applied Mechanics as described in the
congress webpage. The interested person should contact any of the members
of the local organizing committee (listed below). The deadline for submission
of the mini-symposia proposals is August 14th, 2013.
