Hi,
If you are new to the mechanics of composite materials, I strongly recommend you to start with Autar Kaw's Mechanics of Composite Materials book. It is very well written and it has very clear explanation. I myself like these kind of books alot, then I can easily find what I am looking for. It also includes some example problems which might help you to improve your knowledge and get familiar with the topics.
