Zhang's group is planning to fill out two graduate research assistant positions in the coming spring (2013). One openning is on the experimental cell mechanics with a focus on the role of mechanics on the cell behavior and functions. The other opening is on the experimental characterizations of the chemomechanical degradation of high-capacity energy storage materials. The graduate research assistants will have the opportunities to collaborate with computational modelers within and outside the group. We are also interested in highly qualified graduate students who are interested in multiscale computatoinal modeling of battery materials.
