Abaqus Tutorial Contact Problem

Hey all

As a part of my effort to learn how to use Abaqus, i was trying to simulate a familiar contact problem which i found in the internet.

fortunately, the document with the descripition of the problem included detailed guidance as to how to create the model.

after i have followed the precised phases needed, i completed the model and it ran OK. the results showed the same patterns of contact and general behavior but the stresses were 2 times greater.

i have no clue what the problem could be because i followed the steps precisely.

i am adding the PDF with the contact problem and the steps needed to define it.
