Associate/Full Professor at Cardiff University

The Cardiff School of Engineering seeks applications
for a full time Reader / Professorial post in Civil Engineering.  The
successful candidate should have an established record of international
achievement in a relevant field of research in addition to a record of
gaining substantial research funding from research councils, industrial
collaborators and/or government agencies that is commensurate with the
level of post to which individuals may apply. 

Applications are sought from individuals with the vision and ability
to ensure that the School of Engineering remains at the forefront of
engineering in the UK.  Furthermore, the candidate should have an
international profile and be able to deliver Cardiff University's vision
of being one of the world's leading universities with an academic
community recognised for its international distinction and impact.

In addition, the candidate will pursue excellence in research,
teaching and enterprise and be able to inspire others to do the same,
will be an enthusiastic individual, able to adapt to the changing
requirements of the HE community and command the confidence of
colleagues at all levels.

Salary: £45336 - £55758 per annum (Reader Scale) or a point on the Cardiff Professorial Scale.
