The Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) invites applications for up to ten open positions for independent research group leaders under the 2026 ČVUT Starting Grant (StG) scheme. The call is open to applicants in all research fields represented at CTU, including Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Architecture, and Humanities. Applicants must be early-career researchers (Ph.D. awarded no more than 8 years prior to the deadline) with substantial international experience (Ph.D. abroad or at least 12 months of postdoctoral experience outside the Czech Republic). Selected Principal Investigators will be awarded annual funding of up to CZK 4,000,000 (approx. €160,000) for three years and a tenure-track academic appointment.
