simulate inclusion-matrix debonding under tensile load with abaqus cohesive element

Dear all:

  I want to simulate the  inclusion-matrix debonding under tensile load with abaqus cohesive element.But when I added the cohesive element around the inclusion, the stress filed was totally changed. I think it is because the stiffness of the cohesive element (K/G1/G2)was not right. Do you know how to choose it so it will not affect the stress field of the oringinal structrure? or can you give me an example? Thanks very much.

the relationship between the elastic constant of the metal and the the number of the fatigue cycles?

Is there a relationship between the elastic constant of the metal and the the number of the fatigue cycles?If we can find the relationship of the stand test spesimen,can we use that  relationship to predict the fatigue life of other structures? 

Does anyone have the paper “Equivalent inclusion method for steady state heat conduction in composites”?

Finite element simulation of substrate and film

Hello Everybody here :

 I am going to use ANSYS to do some finite element simulations of interface crack between

substrate and film and the residual stress of substrate and film. I don’t how to define the interface of the substrate and film in finite element model. How to connect the substrate and film? Just glue the substrate and film or use other element to deal with it? Thanks a lot.
