Learn From the Experts Training With Simpleware

If you want to improve your knowledge of Simpleware software, Synopsys are running four interactive sessions this month - recommended if you want to catch up on image-based modelling.

30 mins each:

Oct 26 Webinar: Reducing the Risk of Concussion Through Personalized Helmet Design

Presented by Ross Cotton (Synopsys Simpleware); Bence Gerber and Chris Quan (ANSYS)

Wednesday, October 26, 2016: 11 AM EDT / 3 PM GMT

Simpleware and ANSYS Head Modelling

PhD studentship on Validation of crystal plasticity models in 3D policrystals at Portsmouth University (UK)

Fatigue life prediction in the aerospace components relies on fracture mechanics for relatively long cracks (>1mm). Nevertheless, most of the fatigue life is spent while the crack is relatively short (<1mm). However life of short cracks is far from well understood leading engineers to apply over conservative safety factors which involves environmental and economic losses. The material microstructure is responsible for the large life uncertainty in short cracks.

New Simpleware Case Studies

We have a number of new case studies at www.simpleware.com, which cover recent applications of our 3D image to model software in the fields of Biomedicine and Materials research.
