12 days to go - WCFA2023 on FKM-Guideline Non-Linear

In a few days, our Workshop on Computational Fatigue Analysis starts in its new volume.

This is to remind you that those of you or of your colleagues, who would be interested in the latest enhancement of the FKM Guideline for static and fatigue analysis in the direction of non-linear analysis (encompassing both high-cycle and low-cycle fatigue regimes), should apply to the workshop we organize.

Workshop on Computational Fatigue Analysis 2023 – FKM-Guideline Non-Linear

From October 30 to November 1, 2023, we hold 11th Workshop on Computational Fatigue Analysis in Prague, Czechia. This time, we chose the attractive topic of the latest extension of the FKM-Guideline for Analytical Strength Assessment. This guideline developed for years by FKM Association in Germany provides clear description how to deal with static and fatigue analysis of industrial components.

Lecture by P. Yadegari on “Fatigue strength of ultra-high strength steels and surface-hardened components”

Lecture by Patrick Yadegari on “Fatigue strength of ultra-high strength steels and surface-hardened components” will be held on-line on Tuesday September 5 at 3PM CET. Its approximate duration is expected 1 hour, but it will depend on the scope of the discussion and the questions of participants. If you wish to take part, please write me to papuga@pragtic.com, so that I could send you the access link to the Zoom platform. Here is the abstract to the lecture:

Invitation to WCFA2018 - FKM Guideline Training

Dear iMechanicians,

I would like to invite you to the prepared 8th volume of the Workshop on Computational Fatigue Analysis series. The 2018 volume is dedicated to the FKM-Guideline on Strength Assessment, which covers both static and fatigue analysis of common industrial components. The key lecturer this time is Dr Roland Rennert from IMA Dresden, one of the co-authors of its last 6th revised version released in 2012.
