Open PhD Position in solid mechanics/elasticity

There is an opening for a funded PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta starting Fall 2023 or Winter 2024, under the supervision of Peter Schiavone. This will involve the development of novel theoretical/computational models and methods in elasticity theory/solid mechanics. Please contact pschiavo@ualberta.ca with a cv if interested.
