The 20th Australasian Conference on the Mechanics of Structures and Materials (ACMSM20) will be held at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Toowoomba, 2-5 December 2008. The conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

ASEC 2008 is a two-day conference scheduled for midway through 2008 directed at structural engineers. This conference is a time out, providing an opportunity for like minded people to meet, share ideas and broaden their technical skills.

ASEC 2008 is directed at time deprived structural engineers who are looking for a chance to renew their interests in structural engineering and for researchers to share their findings. The conference shall be supported by Concrete Institute of Australia, IStructE and IABSE and it is hoped that international and local engineers can participate.
