How to use ABAQUS deal with irregular interface problem?
Submitted by BoJing Zhu on Tue, 2010-02-02 03:57.As we know how to define the interface type is a key problem in ABAQUS.
But when the interface is not regular, can we find a convenient way to realize it?

Can we use constitutive relation at micro/macro scale to molecules scale ?
Submitted by BoJing Zhu on Sun, 2009-12-27 17:20.Hi, everyone
Now I meet a problem, wish can obtain you help.
Now i do some research on multi-compose particle materials (eg. pharmaceutical science materials)___predict the compressibility, compactibility, flow properties and breakage behavior.
as we know, the molecular scale at 0.1-70nm scale and crystal growth process at 0.1-100nm scale, can i use the constitutive relationship at micro(=~um)/macro to analyze the performance and structure at this scale.
thanks !

Can we creat a new kind of "boundary condition" to LBM for solve the mulpiple coupled fields problems
Submitted by BoJing Zhu on Thu, 2009-06-18 19:05.As we know, lattice boltzmann method is one method to solve the fluid problems. and the primary work to use this method is give the corrected "boundary conditon"__pressure conditions and velocity conditions.
To general problems, the PC and VC for 2D/3D problems has been obtained by some scientists(eg.D3Q19,D2q9 ...model).
But to the lowest scale problems, the "force" fields is complexed and the traditional PC/VC is not suit for this kind of problems.
My opinion:
If we know the constitutive relation under this kind of conditions, can we obtained a new kind of PC/VC from the basic theory/knowledge of Quantum mechanics.

For the 090*_consise.doc files, down load it and rename it to 090*_consise.avi, then you can open it with winplay
e.g 0903_consie.doc 0903_consise.avi

Multiple interacting three-dimensional flaws in electromagnetothermoelastic coupled multiphase composites by extended hypersing
Submitted by BoJing Zhu on Fri, 2007-05-11 09:11.This work presents extended hypersingular integral equation (E-HIE) method to analyze the multiple interacting three-dimensional mixed-mode flaws problem in electromagnetothermoelastic coupled multiphase composites (EMTE-CMCs) under extended electro-magneto-thermo-elastic coupled loads through intricate theoretical analysis and numerical simulations. Using the Green’s functions, the multiple interacting three-dimensional flaws problem are reduced to solving a set of E-HIEs coupled with extended boundary integral equations, in which the unknown functions are the extended displacement discontinuities.
