Best Paper Award for Young Investigators - Int. J. Solids & Structures

The International Journal of Solids and Structures is pleased to institute an annual Best Paper Award for Young Investigators. The award will be given annually to a paper published in the previous year whose principal or corresponding author is under the age of 38 or within 10 years of the completion of their PhD. The selection will be made by the Editorial team in consultation with the Editorial Board. The winning paper will be presented at a major mechanics conference and will receive a certificate and a check for $1500 USD. The paper will be featured on the Journal homepage and ScienceDirect, as well as other visible sites. Once the award is announced, the winning paper will be freely available for a period of two years.

To be considered for the award, please select the Young Investigator Article type in the Editorial Manager submission page and complete the accompanying eligibility questionnaire.
