[Submission deadline extended to Jan 29, 2024] Abstract call for Thematic Session 'FS08 - Education in mechanics' - ICTAM2024 (Daegu, South Korea, Aug 25-30, 2024)

Dear Colleagues, Within the 26th International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ICTAM 2024) to be held in Daegu, South Korea, 25 – 30 Aug 2024,Vikram Pakrashi (University College Dublin - Ireland) and myself (Francesco Dal Corso, University of Trento - Italy) are organising the Thematic Session 'FS08 - Education in mechanics'. 

We would like to invite you to contribute to this Thematic Session. 

The Extended Abstract Submission is open until January 29, 2024 (Extended deadline).

Thematic session 'FS08 - Education in mechanics' description:

While most fundamental aspects of Mechanics remain unchanged, novel phenomena and explanation approaches emerge through the years.
The analytical, computational and experimental tools currently at disposal are strongly evolving the engagement methods of learners with "Fluid and Solid Mechanics".
This session is aimed to reflect the evolving aspects of Education in Mechanics.

Note: No author can present more than one paper at ICTAM2024, with the only exception that the extra paper is presented in the Thematic Session 'FS08 - Education in Mechanics'.
