Are you interested in pursuing an international PhD in the area of Computational Mechanics?
If yes, the PhD Track in Computational Mechanics at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, co-ordinated by Prof. Marco Paggi and within the Research Unit MUSAM on Multi-scale Analysis of Materials, can be the right choice.
Key figures (2014-2022): 160 ISI publications in top journals (CMAME, IJSS, JMPS, Comp. Mech., Scientific Reports, etc.), 33% co-authored by PhD students and 75% stemming from international cooperations; >2.5 MEuro of external funds attracted (ERC Starting Grant; ERC Proof of Concept; Marie Curie ITN Project; Italian Project of National interest; Regional projects; projects in collaboration with companies, such as Robert Bosch GmbH).

The whole program is held in English in an international environment.
