Postdoc Position in Flexible Electronics

POST-DOCTORAL SCHOLAR, PENN STATE:  The Advanced Structures Laboratory, Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park Campus invites applications for an appointment as a Postdoctoral Scholar.

 

The successful applicant will perform research in the interdisciplinary areas of flexible electronics and space systems in the Advanced Structures Laboratory. A Ph.D. in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or other relevant fields is required. The successful applicant must have extensive experimental experience in at least one of the following areas: space systems, aerospace electronics, flexible electronics, printed electronics, micro/nano-fabrication, and MEMS.

The successful applicant is expected to work independently on projects identified by Prof. Xin Ning, assist with the preparation of research proposals, and document research results in refereed journal publications. The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of renewal for subsequent years depending on performance and funding.
