Christoph Keplinger will be the next Editor of iMechanica Journal Club

Christoph Keplinger, of University of Colorado Boulder, will be the next Editor of the iMechanica Journal Club. The Journal Club was initiated in January 2007, soon after the launch of iMechanica. It has quickly grown into a flagship feature of iMechanica, epitomizing the vibrant topics and dynamic researchers at the frontier of mechanics.

iMechanica is fortunate to have Christoph to be the newest addition to a succession of excellent Editors. His group does vibrant research on bioinspired, soft Actuators sensors/robots/machines; renewable energy/energy harvesting; electrical properties of polymers. Chirstoph was a recipient of the 2017 Packard Fellowships for Science and Engineering. He served as the discussion leader of the Feb. 2018 iMech jClub, which turned out to be a big success with nearly 20,000 reads and an intriguing thread of discussions.  We look forward to his leadership, as well as another great year of iMechanica Journal Club.
