What about an open source project on fluid network analysis?

Hey, everyone.

Is there anyone familiar with the Generalized Fluid System Simulation Program (GFSSP)? It is a powerful tool developed by NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. I am an engineer on gas turbine. I developed a similar but more simplified, and light-weighted tool, by C programming language.

I really want to devote myself to this project, which aims to create a GFSSP-like open source software. Also will be a software similar to the commercial software -FLOWMASTER.

Is here any suggestions or recommendations?
