Contact Analysis in Abaqus 6.1

Hello, I am a beginner in Abaqus and I am trying to simulate the deformation of a 1020 steel tube being smashed in between two rigid objects. I was able to run the job and get the deformation of the tube but independently of the displacement BC I set on the two rigid bodies, they are in the visualization mode always completely attached to each other. I was hoping they would still be on the outside of the tube as if it was really being smashed. Can someone please tell me if that is standard in Abaqus visualization mode or whether I am doing something wrong? In any case, here is the .cae file if anyone needs to take a look at it:
