PhD positions are available in Dr. Caizhi Zhou's group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering - University of South Carolina. Research projects may involve crystal plasticity finite element modeling. The students will receive rigorous training and interact intensively with their academic advisor. The financial support will be in the form of GRA with a monthly stipend of approximately $2500 for 12 months each year (the tuition will be waived). Financial aids are also available for students to attend professional conferences.
PhD openings are available in Dr. Caizhi Zhou's group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science and Engieering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla). Research projects may involve crystal plasticity finite element modeling or atomistic simulations. The students will receive rigorous training and interact intensively with their academic advisor.
Two openings are available for Ph.D. candidates in Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Students interested in materials modeling are welcome to apply.
