SES 2011 Annual Technical Meeting of the Society of Engineering Sciences which will be held this October 12-14, 2011, at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) announces tenure-track and tenured faculty positions in broad areas of Mechanical Engineering Design, design of advanced materials and structures, design of hybrid and/or heterogeneous structures and systems. In particular, applications with backgrounds in the following specializations are encouraged to apply: novel composites and multi-functional materials, especially at the micro and nano-scales; design of sensors and sensing systems; structural optimization methods; and design methodologies for complex systems.
