A three-year PHD graduate research assistant position is available immediately in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of electromagnetic wave energy harvesting and sensing, Candidates should have a Bachelor/Master’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with good academic standing and should have one or more experiences in the following:

(1) Electromagnetic wave theory and applications

(2) Design and experiment of electromagnetic wave energy harvester and sensors

A Three-year PHD position is available immediately in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of piezoelectric gas sensor.

Candidates should have a Bachelor/Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Solid Mechanics,  Electrical engineering or Chemical engineering with good academic standing and should have at least one of the experience in the following:

(1) Piezoelectric sensor device modelling and experiment

(2) MEMS device fabrication

(3) Gas sensor development

A PHD position is available immediately in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of design, modelling and experiment for Piezoelectric Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Gas sensor, Candidates should have a Bachelor/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or Chemical engineering with good academic standing and should have some experiences in the following:

(1) Piezoelectric device modelling and experiment

(2) SAW device modelling and experiment

(3) Carbon nanotube fabrication

(4) Gas sensor development

A postdoc position is available in the Department of Engineering Technology, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of crystal resonator modeling and experiment. Candidates should have a PHD degree in engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering and should have some experiences in the following:

(1) In-depth understanding of piezoelectric theory and crystal resonators,

(2) Proven publication record on crystal resonator modelling or experiment,

(3) Fundamental knowledge on tensor analysis and transformation,

A RA (MS level) position is available in the Department of Engineering Technology, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of piezoelectric sensor modeling and experiment. The position will start from Summer, 2014. Candidates should have a Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with good academic standing and should have some experiences in the following:

A RA (MS level) position is available in the Department of Engineering Technology, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of characterization of piezoelectric crystals, design and modeling of piezoelectric resonators and sensors.
