Invitation to MS on Performance-portable algorithms for unstructured mesh applications at USNCCM17

We invite you to participate in a minisymposium at the 17th U.S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics (USNCCM17) conference that will take place in Albuquerque, NM, USA, from July 23-27, 2023. The title of the minisymposium is "Performance-portable algorithms for unstructured mesh applications” (https://17.usnccm.org/510).  Abstracts are due by January 15, 2023.

Elmer FEM-OpenFOAM-Dakota: An open-source framework for data analytics, finite element and finite volume methods

 

A program for 3 way coupling between open-source software Elmer FEM, OpenFOAM and Dakota has been developed.

Capabilities: The interface provides an open-source framework that integrates data analytics, finite element and finite volume methods.

Open-source computational frameworks for multi-physics/phase simulations, optimization, uncertainty quantification, surrogate modeling and parameter studies

Numerical modeling packages, Elmer FEM and OpenFOAM, have been coupled with Sandia Dakota, a toolbox for data analytics. All three software packages are open-source.
