 keep getting the zero flux errors in my model.

“There is zero VOL. FLUX everywhere in the model based on the default criterion. please check the value of the average VOL. FLUX during the current iteration to verify that the VOL. FLUX is small enough to be treated as zero. if not, please use the solution controls to reset the criterion for zero VOL. FLUX.”

Does it mean that I have to change General Solution controls in soil step module?

I guess by flux it means pore pressure in my model.

Could you please help me to define maximum and minimum horizontal stress in ABAQUS??? As in situ stresses??

Hi everyone,

I am trying to simulate the diagonal shear band under uniaxial Compression test for cylinder . No matter how I change the Boundary conditions I still get an X shape damage !!

I weakend the two edge elements to get damage . But it is still not working!!!

Any Idea?
