Coupled Eulerian Lagrangian Analysis of ship hull

I am doing my thesis research in Coupled Eulerian Lagrangian Analysis of Impact of Ship Hull on water surface in Abaqus/Explicit. Can anybody pls help me in finding some related research papers??????

Amin to that. I want to research wave impact using CEL in Abaqus Explicit and untill now I have no clue.

CEL analysis in Abaqus/Explicit

Hey.

I have done tha analysi succesfully..

CEL analysis using Abaqus/Explicit

I already done the analysis part but I dont know how to validate it with the theory.

ABAQUS CEL

Hi Kunal,

I am new to ABAQUS. Also my research work is focused on simulating fluid-solid interaction.I am finding difficult to simulate the flow of water.

If you have any example i/p file of " simulating flow of water in Abaqus " pls, send it to my mail id : deepak.h25@gmail.com

Abaqus webinar on CEL

Dear  hdeepu25,

I have found some interesting webinar on CEL in Abaqus/Explicit. Actually it's a demonstration (mostly CAD job about setting up a model for a CEL analysis). But still it's something to start with.

Coupled Eulerian Lagrangian Analysis

Hi Kunal,

I'm new to ABAQUS too. My research work is focused on a particular simulation of fluid-solid interaction. In particular I've a biological solid-porous tissue (cartilage) and it has a water component inside that moves in the porous solid when a load occours on the joint (a knee for ex.). I am finding difficult to charcterize the solid-porous tissue because the solid part is hyperelastic and porous, morover the water flows when the tissue is loaded.

I ask you if you have any input file to try at list to simulate the water flow in a porous media, and if you have would you mind if I ask you to send it. Then I'll try to understand how to characterize the tissue as hyperelastic since in the user manual it is said that in ABAQUS a porous media can be only associated with elastic behaviour.

Thank you so much

Kind Regards

Kiara

powder metallurgy simulation

hi

if abaqus unavailable could ansys simulate porous powder metallurgy bearings with change in density
