Research and Development Engineer in Computational Electromagnetics

ADINA R&D has an immediate opening for a Research and Development Engineer in Computational Electromagnetics.

Applicants will develop and implement novel computational techniques in the ADINA System for solving Maxwell's Equations and provide technical support to customers and distributors.

Job Requirements:

- PhD in electrical engineering, applied physics, mechanical engineering or a related discipline

- Strong background in computational techniques

- In-depth knowledge of electromagnetics

- Good knowledge of finite volume and/or finite element methods

- Experience with multiphysics problems involving coupling between
electromagnetics and fluid/solid mechanics is desirable

- Proficiency in FORTRAN or C++ programming

- Familiarity with computational electromagnetics applications and commercial codes

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
