Position: Post-doc at the Univ. of Auckland, New Zealand

POSITION: POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW AT THE UNIVERSITY
OF AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND
Project Title: Advanced Modelling and Simulation of Closed Mould
Composite Manufacturing Processes
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position on composite manufacturing processes with the Liquid Composite Moulding (LCM) Group at the University of Auckland. The successful candidate will play a major role in developing the LCM group’s research into advanced composites manufacturing processes (including I/CM, Resin Infusion, VARTM, and RTMLight).

The project will involve formulating mathematical models of LCM processes, including the mechanical behaviour of fibrous materials, of elastic and flexible moulds and the fluid mechanics of resin flow through porous and non-porous media. The project also involves the development
of a comprehensive software simulation of LCM processes (SimLCM).

Candidates should have a doctorate in Solid and/or Fluid Mechanics or a related discipline. Some
relevant experience in software development and numerical analysis is required. Experience with
LCM processes, in developing Finite Element software, and with the mathematical modelling of
material behaviour would be advantageous.

The Candidate would work alongside colleagues in the LCM group. This strong research group is
associated with the Centre for Advanced Composite Materials at the University of Auckland,
which includes state-of-the-art research facilities.

The position is ideal for an enthusiastic candidate who would like to develop their career as a
research scientist/engineer. It is also an opportunity to work and study in one of the most
beautiful counties in the world.

The post is available immediately, for a term of eighteen months.

Candidates are invited to send a CV and a statement of research interest by e-mail to either Dr
Bickerton or Dr Kelly, and to arrange for two recommendation letters to be sent separately by mail.

Dear Prof. Piaras Kelly

I am interested to join to your group, but the objectives of your project is not very clear for me. You are going to find the mathematical model of LCM to develop a software to simulate the analysis.

I wonder if you could clearly define your objectives.

Majid

There are several logical reasons for such attitude. First of all it is necessary for an individual to perform his social roles. Within the scope of all authors sayings people won't give up their own ones or even continue pondering over custom thesis by effectivepapers.com as there can be lots of them in the most recent time.
