Im trying to calculate the force on a piece of netting (air at supersonic speeds created by explosions).

I am currently using the drag equation

F=0.5(rho)(V^2)(Cd)(A)

I was told if i calculated the drag coefficiant (Cd) for supersonic speeds this equation is still able to be used.

 Is this correct??
